1. I picked this image over other because I personally like how the colour of the salad is very vibrant and that there are no other very strong colours that distract you from it. I also liked the depth of field and how the rim of the bowl is out of focus but that salad is in focus
2. To set up this photo i made sure that there was a lot of light in the room and I got the lens of the camera to be almost level with the bowl to eliminate a lot of background space. I then manually focused the camera to adjust the depth of field.
3. I think the colour is really the first thing that catches your eye because it is vibrant but not too harsh that it becomes cumbersome to look at for a long period of time.
4. The spoon on the left side acts as a leading line which leads your eye to the vibrance of the salad and how strong the colour is.
